PlantState Suite 5.0 for real-time profit improvement in the process industries now includes a number of embedded capabilities, previously available only as separate products. Included are an event historian; OPC server; APC studio for developing real-time calculations or advanced control strategies; and APC online to provide real-time I/O connections from PlantState Suite applications to various distributed control systems, PLCs, and other plant-floor devices.
