Microprocessor for embedded applications

Staff -- Control Engineering, 5/1/2006

Embedded Control

Rabbit 4000 is said to offer improved features from integrated Ethernet to hardware DMA to meet the needs of demanding connectivity and control embedded applications. Microprocessor comes in two RoHS-compliant packages: 128-pin LQFP and 128-pin TFBGA configurations. New features include integrated 10Base-T Ethernet, 16-bit memory device support, and page-mode memory device support. More than 500 new instructions increase processing speed and efficiency. Programming is simple using the Dynamic C software development system. Integrated features let embedded engineers develop smaller designs for diverse implementation. www.rabbit.com Rabbit Semiconductor Inc.
