Model 1940A 400 MHz, four-channel direct digital synthesizer in a 1U rack-mountable case features four independent 1940A frequency low-noise sine-wave outputs that can be individually set to any value between 200 kHz and 400 MHz with a resolution of 1 Hz. Each output frequency is provided on two buffered output connectors for a total of eight outputs. Amplitude is +4 dBm and each output channel can be programmed with 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, or 60 dB of attenuation. Device contains an internal temperature compensated crystal timebase that is stable to ±2 ppm per year. Each 1940A has two front-panel LCDs. Each two-line display has an associated rotary encoder and control buttons for setting the desired frequency on each of two channels per section. Output frequency can also be controlled remotely using an RS-232 interface and simple text commands. Menu-based software is included. www.novatech-instr.com Novatech Instruments Inc.
