Copley Controls' Model 800-1514 dual-axis servo amplifier for current (torque) control of brushless servo motors accepts encoder and Hall-effect feedback data from a wide range of servo motor types. It operates on a 20-55-V isolated dc supply and delivers two independently controlled outputs (4 A peak, 3 A continuous) for driving high-performance three-phase motors. A 5-V dc output is provided for encoder and Hall sensor operation. Drive torque is controlled by a ±10-V command from a motion controller or PLC. Amplifier is commissioned using CME 2 Microsoft Windows software and communicates over a RS-232 link. Industry standard buffered encoder output, ±10-V torque command, and all control signals are optically isolated. Typical applications include multi-axis equipment for semiconductor fabrication, test and measurement, and automated assembly. www.copleycontrols.com Copley Controls Corp.
