Actuant Corp. acquires Actown Electrocoil

Actuant Corp., parent company of Acme Electric Corp., acquired Actown Electrocoil, a manufacturer of power and high voltage transformers, custom-built coils, high-frequency ferrite applications, and PCB surface mount transformers with tape and reel packaging.

Actuant is a global company with sales in excess of $1 billion and with operations in more than 30 countries, and Actown Electrocoil has annual sales of $36 million and employs approximately 300 people.
