Marsh Multi-Mag flowmeter from McCrometer is said to provide accuracy under difficult flow conditions such as low flow, wide flow ranges, flows containing sand and grit, vertical pipes, and locations near bends and elbows. Device measures liquid volumetric flow rates in pipes from 4 to 120 in. (101.6 mm to 3 m) using a multi-point technology that creates negligible pressure loss. It is also available for 1-, 2-, and 3-in. taps. Using an insertable electromagnetic averaging design, the flowmeter measures volumetric flow with accuracy to ±1% of reading (from 0 to 20 ft/s + zero stability) and repeatability at 0.2% of flow range. Features include a 4-20 mA analog output that is galvanically isolated and programmable for zero and full scale. Dual alarms are provided. Applications include custody transfer, filter balancing and backwash, water treatment processes, distribution management, and wellhead flows. www.mccrometer.com McCrometer
