Junction boxes for fieldbus applications

New family of field junction boxes for fieldbus installations from Pepperl+Fuchs are intended to facilitate quick and easy mounting of the company’s Segment Protector and Field Barrier fieldbus wiring components, terminators, spur connectors, and surge protection devices. Custom designs are available on request. Product range is suitable for Zone 2/Div. 2, Zone 1/Div. 1 intrinsically safe and Zone 1 increased safety applications. Boxes arrive ready for field installation with all necessary components installed, wired, and tested at the factory. They come pre-drilled and pre-assembled for one segment having trunk-in, trunk-out, and 4, 6, or 8 spur connections; one trunk and 10 or 12 spur connections; or two segments having one multicore trunk connection and 16, 20, or 24 spur connections. www.am.pepperl-fuchs.com Pepperl+Fuchs
