PowerBox 1700 withstands washdowns

By Staff -- Control Engineering, 4/1/2007

Modular Industrial Computer

PowerBox 1700 is the latest enhancement to the company’s line of fully sealed NEMA 4X industrial computer systems. Less than 6-in. deep, it combines a robust touchscreen display with integrated Intel Pentium M processor and can be installed on the plant floor without other protection. It is suited for washdown environments and operates over a wide range of temperature and humidity conditions. Side-mounted cable access panel allows standard I/O connectors to be installed, yet fully sealed from contamination and water. www.mic.com
