Aaxeon: New Gigabit industrial Ethernet switches

Brea, CA—LNX-1002GN is a 10 port SNMP Managed Industrial Ethernet switch with two Gigabit ports and 8 10/100TX ports from Aaxeon Technologies Inc. The GigE ports support either fiber through an SFP or 10/100/1000TX. The LNX-1002GN is designed especially for high bandwidth applications such as telecommunications, ITS, and DCS (distributed control systems).

Either Gigabit port can be used for copper or fiber. If two fiber ports are required, just plug in the correct SFP (single mode or multi-mode) for the application. Alternatively, if no SFP is plugged into a port, then the port will automatically support 10/100/1000TX.In addition, these GigE ports support Aaxeon’s Xtreme Ring with 300 ms route recovery.

For network optimization and flexibility the LNX-1002GN supports such advanced management functions as QoS, IGMP Snooping, VLAN, Port Trunking and SNMP.Standard models are rated for -10 °C to 70 °C and the –T models are rated for -40 °C to 80 °C.
