Gas standards generating station moves easily

By Staff -- Control Engineering, 9/1/2007

The Span Lab Cal Cart from Kin-Tek Laboratories combines the elements of a gas standards generating system to create complex, trace concentration mixtures into a rolling unit easily moved between analyzer stations. A system with up to six modules can be installed in the cart along with supporting dilution gas cylinders. Internal battery power minimizes the time to move and start up at each analyzer station. The analyte vapors for blending ppm and ppb mixtures are dispensed by NIST-traceable permeation tubes. Features include secondary dilution to provide wide concentration range from a single permeation tube, and humidification of the final mixture to simulate ambient air. Epoxy powder-coated metal surfaces are suitable for cleanroom facilities. www.kin-tek.com Kin-Tek Laboratories Inc.
