NMW: APEM IPP Series pushbutton switches unveiled

Haverhill, MA—APEM Components Inc., a manufacturer of miniature and industrial switches, featured an expanded line of IP sealed pushbutton switches with the addition of a flat top plunger switch series at National Manufacturing Week last week in Rosemont, IL. The switches are recommended for any application that requires a sealed, ergonomic electrical interface. Applications also are found in markets including marine, off-road, transportation, military, medical equipment, and security.
The RoHS compliant pushbutton switches are available in momentary and maintained functions. The switch is offered with a black bezel frame and seven actuator color choices. Sealing to IP67 is another advantage; elastomeric seal construction ensures a reliable seal.
The pushbutton switches are rated for 100 mA at 24 V dc with an expected life of 200,000 cycles, and 2 A at 125 V ac with an expected life of 10,000 cycles per UL1054. The IPP Series is manufactured with gold plated silver contacts and is available pre-wired or with solder lug terminals.
