Northwire Inc. is expanding its DataCell Field rugged cable product line to include CC-link, mid ODVA DeviceNet and nominal 100V and 80V FOUNDATION fieldbus cables. The high flex life DeviceNet cables are designed for discrete factory automation and control and have been tested to survive more than 10 million cycles on the company’s testing equipment. They are conformance tested and passed by CC-link Partner Association (CLPA) and are fully shielded with a 65% tinned copper braid and inner 100% foil shield with drain. The Foundation fieldbus line includes version with controlled electrical characteristics and is UL-listed.
