11 vehicles chosen for Nov. 3 DARPA Urban Challenge Event, blog tells more

UPDATE: Click here to see who won the Urban Challenge race!Victorville, CA - The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) today announced that 11 vehicles have been selected as finalists to compete in the DARPA Urban Challenge Event on Nov. 3, 2007, at the former George Air Force Base in Victorville, CA. Prizes total more than $3.5 million.
