Siemens releases universal remote displays

-- Control Engineering, 11/1/2007

software, HMI, process instrumentation

Sitrans RD100 and RD200 universal remote digital displays from Siemens Energy & Automation, Inc. enable users to view and access measurement data from a remote location. They can be used with all types of field instruments in varying process conditions. Sitrans RD100 is a 2-wire, loop-powered remote digital display. Easy setup with a 2-step configuration allows for quick servicing without interruption of the loop. The date is easily read on a 1-in. high LCD display. Key applications of the RD100 include display of the process variables for level, flow, pressure, temperature and weighing applications, in a 4 to 20 mA loop. Sitrans RD200 is a universal input, panel-mount, remote display for process instrumentation.  It accepts universal inputs, including current, voltage, thermocouple and Resistance Temperature Device (RTD) signals. www.sea.siemens.com Siemens Energy & Automation
