3-phase 480 W power supplies

-- Control Engineering, 11/1/2007

Carlo Gavazzi has added 480 W 3-phase switching power supplies to its SPD Series to meet increasing power demands of the automatic machinery market. They are available in

24 and 48 V dc output voltages, feature universal input voltages of 340-575 V ac and 480-820 V dc, and include power factor correction and parallel functions. Features include DIN rail mounting, short circuit, overvoltage, and overload protection, “Power OK” and “Low Output Voltage” diagnostic LEDs, and a relay output for a power ready signal. Models include internal noise filtering, a potentiometer for fine tuning dc output voltage, and an extended temperature range of –13 to 160°F (-25 to 71°C). For parallel operation, a built-in decoupling diode is included. The series has a rugged metal housing with screw terminals.
