Fanless 15-in. touchpanel PC

-- Control Engineering, 12/1/2007

InformationThe Industrial Automation Group of Advantech unveiled the TPC-1570H, a touchpanel PC built with a 15-in. XGA TFT liquid crystal display (LCD) screen. It combines high performance with low voltage and a heat sink to create a fanless unit with an aluminum-magnesium alloy front panel.

The TPC-1570H features the Intel Pentium M 1.4 GHz with 2M cache processor, as well as spindle-free storage, which makes the touchpanel a durable platform.

For applications where such storage is not critical, a fast-access PATA HDD module can be used. The unit provides multiple standard communication ports, three serial ports, dual Ethernet ports, dual USB 2.0 ports, one PS/2 port and one parallel port to couple with different peripherals. The standard I/O portfolio can meet diverse requests. Accessories include desktop stand and wall-mount kit. www.eautomationpro.com Advantech
