Wireless pressure switch
-- Control Engineering, 4/1/2008
Meriam Adalet Wireless has announced a fully integrated, self-contained wireless pressure switch for monitoring pressure in industrial applications. The AWI-PS, for use in rugged industrial areas, is available in battery-powered and ac-powered versions. AWI-PS includes the wireless transmitter, pressure switch, and self-contained power source in one lightweight, rugged case aluminum enclosure. It provides tank farms, pipelines, and in-plant industrial applications pressure monitoring and measurement without the constraints of hard wiring. The bellows pressure-sensing elements in the switch device are constructed from 316 stainless steel and have adjustable pressure ranges up to 0-5,000 psi. A robust, sensitive switching mechanism results in improved life, repeatability, and lower deadbands. www.adaletwireless.com Meriam Adalet Wireless
