More IVTT prep
February 1, 2008

Book mentioned on the NIST Intelligent Systems Division website.

IVTT SEMINAR PREP (continued)
The biographies of the presenters are starting to arrive here, one by one.  Internet service here was down for a day so I helped the cable company track the problem back to blown channel of a three channel amplifier on a pole about a block from my shop here in Traverse City, MI.  Each of the presenters biographies that have showed up so far show that these people have covered an amazing amount of ground during their careers.

NAV SYSTEM NOTES
A portable GPS navigation system that I bought for the trip and am learning about has many capabilities.  I am discovering what each of them are, one by one and trying them out.  I am discovering a lot of things along the way.  The sound is not loud enough for me to hear what the system is saying - too many years working around large engines, so I purchased an adapter that connects it to the car stereo.   That seems to be working nicely.
