Wireless webcasting
This morning was an interesting webcast on the topic of Wireless in Process Manufacturing. Representatives from Honeywell Process Solutions and Invensys Process Systems gave their views on where the technology is headed. We received a lot of questions and very high registrations, so this is on a lot of minds. Aside from a brief technical glitch, it went very well, and will be available in archival form for listening-on-demand in a few days.
The winner of the OneWireless Starter Kit from Honeywell is Archer Daniels Midland, as represented by Tim Hays.
My colleague Charlie Masi does a second wireless webcast next Wednesday, September 5, on Controlling Machines Without Wires. He covers the discrete side of the industry. Tune in.
