Getting secure with SANS in Orlando
December 16, 2008
If cyber security issues are on your mind, treat yourself to a little mid-winter sunshine and attend the SANS Institute Process Control and SCADA Security Summit in Orlando, February 2-3. This is arguably the most comprehensive and compact gathering of people interested in cyber security for industrial control systems. Those in attendance know the different needs of industrial networks vs. office IT systems, so this is not generic training that you will have to adjust for your needs. Look over the agenda closely, and you will find much useful information.
What's more, the event coordinates nicely with the ARC Advisory Group's Orlando Forum. You can hit both events with one trip, which is what I plan on doing.
