We have met the enemy...
We have met the enemy...
July 18, 2007
"We have met the enemy and he is us." This famous saying from Pogo has been proved again as we learn that employees represent the greatest cybersecurity threat.
"Click 'yes' to make the box go away," could prove to be the famous last words about your control systems according to a new report. While there are stories of malicious employees, well intentioned system users simply don't realize what they're doing and how an apparently simple act can open a door to a bad guy.
As it says on posters around the Control Engineering offices, "Think before you click." That's good advice.
