This is FIRST Robotics 20th year and it continues to grow in popularity as a sport. FIRST is the biggest of the 108 robotic competitions designed to inspire young people to choose careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. As pointed out in the State Of The Union address recently, we as a nation are being out flanked by other nations in educating the next generation. This is this a Sputnik moment.

On March 4 & 5, 2011 Central High School will host “Logo Motion,” the 2011 FIRST Robotics District Competition in which 40 high school teams will participate. Admission is free so consider attending one near you to find out what great fun it is. Here is team line up:
