Dual level terminal block

Weidmuller WDK10 terminal block is designed to save space by 50% and can integrate two circuits within one terminal.

09/13/2011

Weidmuller introduces a new terminal block to the WDK Terminal Series for machinery, process and power generation industries. The WDK 10 dual-level terminal is designed to reduce cabinet space by 50% and is ideally suited for applications where there is limited panel space for power distribution terminal installations. With a 10 mm width, the WDK 10 offers one of the highest wiring densities among screw terminals for power distribution applications requiring 6AWG conductors.

Weidmuller’s WDK 10 integrates two independent circuits within one terminal. This new design includes corresponding jumpering channels that accommodate the connection of screw-down jumpers to adjacent terminals. Depending on power distribution requirements, an upper- and lower-bussed terminal is available (WDK 10V) to common 4-wires to one terminal. The new WDK 10 features Weidmuller’s vibration-proof and maintenance-free “self-locking” screw clamp termination technology and is electrically rated for 600 V/64 A/18-6 AWG to UL and CSA standards.
