The iPC-Series combines Intel i-Series processing power with SATA solid state drives, extensive I/O including HDMI, up to 64-bit Windows operating systems, LED-backlighting with 12-in. to 19-in. displays, and Class I Div 2 approvals. This is a Control Engineering 2013 Engineers' Choice finalist. The innovative iPC-Series from Nematron continues to change the definition of traditional Industrial PCs by offering the latest in embedded processing power from Intel, i-Series Core processors. The iPC-Series includes 12 in., 15 in., 17 in., and 19 in. display versions, now with brighter LED backlighting. Nematron designed the iPC-Series with tough environments in mind, shaping it to not only be compact, ultra thin, and heavy duty, but with the flexibility and muscle of the average desktop or laptop. Solid state drives and serious I/O offerings add to the reliability, stability, and networking capabilities that control engineers and plant managers look for in an industrial PC.

The iPC-Series is aimed at furthering the success of Nematron's other industrial PCs in the manufacturing marketplace, by offering the latest in backlighting, I/O connections, and processing power at very competitive pricing suitable for many application. With the addition of 64-bit application support, software engineers are enjoying graphical enhancements with the coupling of 64-bit control software interface design and high performance processing.

In addition to these enhancements, Nematron had the foresight to design the iPC-Series to use the same chassis size as the previous ePC-Series, allowing for easy replacement and upgrading using the current footprint. The iPC-Series also can be ordered as a non-display node computer (nPC300) offering flexibility for mounting in space-constrained applications. The iPC-Series models are available with 5-wire analog resistive touchscreens and NEMA sealed panel mount front panels.

Their ultra-thin size and thin panel mounting depth make them ideal for installation in harsh environments, especially hazardous locations. All sizes and models of the iPC-Series and nPC300 have UL508 and cUL approvals, as well as Class I Division 2, and European CE approvals, making system integration a breeze for virtually any application and/or location.
