EC: Servo Inverter i700
Motion Control - Servo drives: Designed for multi-axis applications, the i700 simplifies machine design, build and commissioning. This is a Control Engineering 2013 Engineers' Choice finalist.
Control Engineering
The i700 drive system features an easy assembly concept and is notably compact and flexible. Extremely short cycle times, 32-bit signal resolution and an overload capacity of more than 200% make the i700 suited for simple positioning tasks and highly dynamic, precise, multi-axis applications in handling and packaging machines and robot applications. The reduced space requirement, lower number of components and simple ease of assembly help deliver customers a significant boost in productivity. Intuitive software tools and a central engineering interface, make it simple to integrate the i700 into automation architectures through EtherCAT. Automatic download of parameters and firmware, along with auto-tuning functions, ensure fast commissioning. Additionally, the i700 features integrated safety functionality to simplify the machine design.
