: Automatically operated miniature circuit breaker that protects an electrical circuit from damage caused by overload or short circuit, with ring tongue lug connections conforming to UL 489, CSA 22.2 No. 5 and IEC/EN 60947-2 standards. This is a Control Engineering 2013 Engineers' Choice finalist.

The SU200PR is a high-performance Branch Circuit Protection miniature circuit breaker with ring tongue lug connections conforming to UL 489, CSA 22.2 No. 5 and IEC/EN 60947-2 standards. It is available in 1, 2, 3 and 4 pole devices with rated current up to and including 35 A for 480Y/277 V ac, and up to 63 A for 240 V ac.  The integrated captive screws simplify the secure connection of cables, avoid installers loosing the connection screws, provide extra protection, and save time.

The material used is a more flexible Thermoplastic which is also recyclable. All markings are clear permanent laser markings and are visible from the front so that they are clearly visible even when mounted in position on the DIN rail.

The SU200PR has a true Contact Position Indicator (CPI) that indicates the actual contact position, to ensure the display of fault conditions such as contacts that may be "welded" closed, due to excessive fault. It also complies with the latest UL requirement for barriers of MCBs fitted with ring tongue terminals. A full range of accessories are also available to further enhance the family compatibility.

This new miniature circuit breaker is a valuable addition to the well known system System pro M compact PR range. Common applications of the SU200PR include the semiconductor and transportation industries.
