Festo US names new chief executive officer
Richard J. Huss has been named the Festo US CEO.

sto, one of the world’s technology leaders in automated motion control solutions, announces that Richard J. Huss is the new CEO of Festo US.
Huss comes to Festo US from Bosch Rexroth, where for the past 10 years he was Vice President and General Manager. He joined Bosch Rexroth (formerly Indramat Division) in 1985 following five years with Getty’s servo motors and drives. In addition to management expertise in the technology industry, Huss has extensive experience in partnering with distributors and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to provide innovative automation solutions to end users in a host of industries. Huss holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Hampshire.
Festo automated motion control solutions are applied in such industries as food processing and packaging; electronics manufacturing, including solar technologies; biotechnology and pharmaceuticals; chemicals and petrochemicals; water treatment; automotive; and more. Founded in 1972 and nearing its 40th anniversary, Festo US has more than 300 employees, and more than 65,000 customers in the United States.
