Unique dynamic procedures help customers adapt workflows based on actual plant conditions, improving performance and minimizing costs in real time. The newest version, Intela-Trac 4.0, provides powerful new tools that extend and integrate IntelaTrac to important plant systems of record, including Invensys Operations Management’s Wonderware System Platform.

Now users of this automation application environment can share data with mobile users to provide better visibility into real-time plant operations. A new oil and gas module provides industry-specific features, including mobilization of hydrocarbon accounting systems like Tieto’s Energy Components that enhance the ability of upstream personnel to reliably operate remote production facilities.

IntelaTrac 4.0 also delivers operator-driven reliability, cost-effective regulatory compliance, energy management, and asset responsiveness. Workforce turnover can be mitigated using mobile on-the-job learning capabilities, without any custom programming.

“Our extensibility enables systems of record throughout the plant to connect with an Intela-Trac mobile device and deliver tasks directly to mobile operators, making them more effective and efficient,” says Jim Frider, mobile solutions marketing manager, Invensys Operations Management. “These capabilities help close the information gap that many mobile systems have, and deliver useful information directly to the people that need it the most.”
