GarrettCom Magnum 6KL managed edge switch has fiber port configurability and managed network capabilities for hostile industrial network environments. It provides options and media found previously only in larger Magnum Ethernet switches, and brings fiber port configurability for managed networking capabilities to the edge of industrial networks. The compact 10-port Ethernet switch has an ambient temperature range of -40ts. The switch is packaged in a hardened, convection-cooled, environmentally sealed metal box with optional conformal coating, and offers high EMI noise immunity. Power input choices include: 24 V dc for factory floor; 48 V for tariffed carrier field facilities and for PoE-powered applications, suchas video surveillance; 125 V or 250 V dc for power substations; worldwide ac for transportation; and 12 V dc for specialty vehicular applications.
