Photoelectric sensor mounting brackets make positioning more flexible

Pepperl+Fuchs introduces mounting brackets that support multi-axes alignment in cost effective package ideal for packaging, material handling and general automation applications.

12/30/2010

Pepperl+Fuchs introduced MH01-M18 Mounting Brackets for use with the company’s ML17 series as well as all M18 cylindrical photoelectric sensor families. These mounting brackets provide an affordable means of mounting photoelectric sensors with industry-standard M18 threading in packaging, material handling and general automation applications with multi-axes alignment needs.

Unlike standard right angle mounting brackets that are inherently inflexible, these half-clamp style brackets allow the sensor to quickly be turned on several axes for easy adaptation to changing multi-axes alignment application needs. They fasten on a 12 mm (0.5 in.) diameter rod or bolt common to packaging and material handling equipment. Once fastened, the half-clamp can be rotated 360° around the rod or bolt to best align the sensor to satisfy the specific application requirements.
