Profinet website receives upgrade
PI North America has retooled their Profibus website for 2013 and has been designed to be device responsive so users will receive the same experience regardless of their Internet platform.
PI North America, the home of Profibus and Profinet in USA and Canada, has launched a new web site as part of its marketing strategy for 2013.
PI North America Technical Marketing Director Michael Bowne says: “We are rolling out some exciting marketing ideas in the coming months with particular emphasis on Profinet, our Industrial Ethernet networking solution for automation. We took a close look at our web presence and decided that this would also be the ideal moment to make substantial improvements. As well as the new web address we have used a completely fresh graphical presentation that puts the most popular items right in front of the reader and makes for much easier navigation. We are excited by this approach and believe it will go a long way towards making Profinet much more accessible to our North American automation audience.”
The new site is ‘device responsive’, which allows visitors to have a consistent viewing experience when using reading devices such as PCs, laptops, tablets and smartphones.
