So have you been doing anything special this week, for National Engineers Week? Do you have anything planned? Some of you must, though perhaps not this week.
The National Engineers Week Foundation says that U.S. engineers contributed more than 1 million hours per year to public service, so efforts go well past a single week. The foundation, in recognition of engineer volunteers, has a variety of resources available, with a toolkit, helpf for various programs, and many links to related resources devoted to helping young people, especially girls, to discover and develop engineering-related interests.
www.eweek.org/EngineersWeek/EngineersWeek.aspx outlines programs in progress, award recognition, and other insights.

Let us know what you're doing this week (or this past year), to pass along your excitement for engineering; post a comment or on any article on the site. Thanks.
