ICM8 communication gateway module from Red Lion Controls Inc. implements online data monitoring of the company’s temperature controllers and PAX Series panel meters. Device offers RS-232 and RS-485 serial ports and a 10 Base-T/100 Ethernet port. It enables monitoring of multiple disparate devices and performs conversions of numerous protocols simultaneously via an extensive built-in driver list, allowing easy data mapping to PLCs, PCs, and SCADA systems. ICM8 is made of high-impact plastic and stainless steel and snaps onto standard DIN-style top hat (T) profile mounting rails. Colored steady or flashing LEDs indicate operating conditions. Device includes 4 MB of non-volatile flash memory and 2 MB of SDRAM.
