Pepperl+Fuchs adds to sensor line

Chicago, Ill. -Pepperl+Fuchs (P+F, Twinsburg, O.) announced March 8 at the National Industrial Automation Show here that it has acquired Visolux (Berlin, Germany)e to be sold under the Pepperl+Fuchs/Visolux name while the Microswitch products will become strictly P+F brands. The production of all three product lines will be transferred to P+F's existing facilities in Singapore, Germany, and Ohio. With these acquisitions, P+F claims to move into the numberthree position in the US sensors market.
