Brit Buchanan, Marketing Manager, and Leonard Salamida, Application Engineer, Thomas & Betts
Brit Buchanan is a Marketing Manager at the industry leader, Thomas & Betts. Brit currently supports 60% of the product groups within her company. She was nominated for Marketing Leader of the Year after only working at TNB for one year. With her first marketing launch being so successful, Brit raised the bar and set the standards for future marketing projects. She received her bachelors at the University of Memphis and is currently pursuing her MBA with concentration in Marketing.


Leonard Salamida, is an Applications Engineer, and lead in the Thomas & Betts eFab service department. Leonard graduated in 2003 from Florida International University with a Civil/Environmental bachelors degree. Leonard has an extensive background in the construction field for commercial development. He has previously held the position of project manager under a Miami based contracting firm. Most recently before his joining Thomas & Betts, he was employed with Florida Power and Light. There he was a Project manager, engineering underground and overhead expansion projects from the substation to the meter. Leonard has been with T&B for just shy of two years now, relocating from the small town of Miami to the great city of Memphis. Leonard was hired to support the boxes division in technical sales. Mostly to focus on the expansion and reviving of a services branch of T&B labeled as eFab.

Rob McGreevy, Vice President of Operations, Information and Asset Management, Invensys/Software
Rob is responsible for the Invensys Operations, Information and Asset Management software business globally. This includes responsibility for defining and executing the Software product and business strategy. The Information, Operations and Asset Management business includes Production Information (Wonderware brand Historian, SmartGlance, Reporting & Intelligence), Operations and Execution (MES, Batch and Workflow) as well as Asset Management (IntelaTrac Mobile Solutions, Avantis). Rob comes to Invensys with over 18 years of experience working in the software business with a focus on manufacturing and industrial applications, serving markets such as water, food, beverage, pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing. He has held positions within sales, product marketing and business management for various companies within the software industry including General Electric, Emerson / Intellution and Rockwell Automation. Rob has extensive experience in Product and Business Management, M&A, Sales, and Marketing and is a graduate of the University of Iowa, where he studied Computer Science and Journalism & Communications.
Maryanne_Headshot Maryanne Steidinger, Director, Product Marketing, Operations, Asset Management and Information, Invensys Operations Management
Maryanne has been with Invensys since October 2008, initially working with the Wonderware division as their MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)/EMI (Enterprise Manufacturing Intelligence) Marketing Programs Manager. She now is responsible for the Wonderware and Avantis brands for Enterprise Asset Management; Automation and Information Software in a product marketing role. Maryanne's background includes over 25 years in industrial automation, working for leading automation providers in sales, MES Marketing and Partner/Alliance Management, and leadership positions in marketing, business development and partner management. A native Californian, Maryanne received her BA and MA degrees respectively in Psychology and Marketing Management from Sonoma State University. She is a past chair, and current Americas Board member, of MESA International.

Rich Thompson currently serves as Vice President of Marketing, ITW Welding North America, where he has strategic responsibility for key brands such as Miller(R) and Hobart(R) in the company's welding portfolio. Mr. Thompson has over 25 years of progressive strategic marketing, brand building, product commercialization and general business management experience on both the B2B and B2C spaces. Before his current role at ITW, he led strategic brand marketing for the Teflon(R) brand for DuPont, as well in several senior level marketing positions for Newell Rubbermaid at one of their largest divisions. His work in marketing and branding has been recognized by Advertising Age magazine, being named to their prestigious "Marketing 100" list, the American Marketing Association with their Gold EDISON Award, and by Response magazine for his breakthrough work in changing traditional branding through direct response marketing. A patented inventor, he has commercialized numerous successful new products in-market and is known for bringing to his employers a common sense and fact-based approach to branding and overall business strategies.
