The Simatic HMI Comfort Panel represents a new generation of units for demanding HMI applications. Simatic HMI Comfort Panels feature the same high-end functionality with maximum performance across the whole product range. The panels are available with different sizes of displays: high-resolution, brilliant, widescreen displays from 4 in. to 22 in., either with Touch or Key controls, and can be perfectly adapted to any application. One of the many innovations compared to the existing Simatic Panels is the option to centrally switch off the displays of the units via Profienergy in break times in order to save energy. The Simatic HMI Comfort Panels are designed for use in a rugged industrial environment. Simatic HMI Panels and Simatic PLCs are configured using the award winning TIA Portal based Simatic Step 7 and Simatic WinCC engineering software which facilitates powerful yet efficient PLC and HMI programming, networking and commissioning.
