Achieve and sustain organizational excellence at the AME 2011

Annual Excellence Inside International Conference expects 2,500 manufacturing practitioners to gain insights from keynote speakers, share best practices, network, Oct. 24-28, 2011, in Dallas, TX.

With the economic recovery phase underway and the unemployment rate slowly decreasing, companies—especially those in the manufacturing sector—must continually strive to find new ways to achieve and sustain organizational excellence during this critical time. Attendees of the 2011 Annual Excellence Inside International Conference, hosted by the Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME), will find new opportunities to master the enterprise excellence journey.

From October 24-28, 2011, an expected 2,500 manufacturing practitioners from around the world will gather in Dallas, TX to gain insights from keynote speakers, share best practices with other professionals, explore world-class facilities and network.

The conference will boast eight inspiring keynote speakers:

During 40 workshops, 60 presentations and 10 special interest sessions, conference attendees will have countless networking and best practice sharing opportunities. . From “Mastering Lean Product Development” and “Sustainability Unplugged,” to “Lean Accounting” and “Value Stream Mapping,” the AME conference features dozens of learning opportunities for professionals of all levels, in any industry.

According to AME members, facility tours are a prime way to learn first-hand how companies achieve and sustain operational excellence. This year, conference attendees will have the option to take part in any of 40 scheduled tours, including major medical device, food, transportation and health care manufacturers.

The conference will also include an exhibition hall, with more than 60 exhibitors, showcasing practical Lean knowledge-based product and service solutions. These exhibitors will enrich the conference experience with the tools and resources to help organizations eliminate waste and improve effectiveness.
