Partnering with USA Refrigerants—an Old Bridge, N.J.-based distribution/recycling firm—the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) has launched the R-22 Buyback Program, designed to help contractor members recycle refrigerants and recover some of the associated costs.

Contractors enrolled in the program receive recovery cylinders; once a cylinder is full, it is collected, reclaimed, and replaced. Participating companies do not incur freight costs or face a time limit. Upon reclamation, the contractor receives a complete U.S. Environmental Protection Agency reclaim report, and the firm is compensated according to current market price.

Like Fort Knox. Solid defense in depth.
Well defended, I think, but not positive.
Working on it, but not there yet.
Few defenses, but who would find us?
We’re wide open, living on borrowed time.
