Motors, drives, motion control

Line of 16 mm miniature brush and brushless dc gearmotors and motors from Nidec Copal Corp. includes three types to serve a range of automation instrumentation. Planetary resin gears are well suited for applications where lower audible noise is a requirement. Brush dc gear motor family offers gear ratios of 30, 60, 120, and 240; rated shaft speeds range from 310 to 55 rpm. Brush dc gear motor torques vary from 3.45 to 6.94 oz-in. Planetary metal gears are for applications demanding high shock loads and high torque. Ratios of 60, 120, 240, 300, and 500 are available. Spur gear motors are for applications with moderate loads where cost is a concern. Ratios include 30, 60, 120, and 240 for the brushless versions and 50 and 120.9 for the brush gear motors.
