Stationary gas analyzer from Witt with a zirconia measuring cell is said to offer a shorter reaction time than models with chemical sensors. Calculation of residual oxygen content takes only seconds, says the company, and the testing capacity is greatly improved. Analyzer reportedly can read gas concentrations to 0.01%, allowing measurements in the ppm range. Especially suitable for the gas packaging industry, the device can be used for permanent (in-line) gas monitoring and sample analysis by suction needle. Weighing just under 3 kg and with a surface requirement of one DIN A5 sheet, it needs little space to locate. Results are displayed on a large LCD, which can be set to any of a number of languages.
