Siemens expands its Simatic rugged comfort panel HMI touch screens.Siemens Industry has expanded its industrial Simatic HMI Comfort Panels to include 15-, 19-, and 22-in. color touch screens. The panels offer long-life displays, are easily configured, provide high resolution, and are readable up to 170° from all directions. The LED background lighting can be dimmed up to 100% – manually or via standardized Profienergy communication – to reduce energy consumption as well as extend service life and adjust the brightness for application requirements.

All Simatic HMI Comfort Panels include Profinet and Profibus network interfaces, as well as connecting to a USB periphery. Commissioning is also simplified as all the Ethernet settings are automatically accepted.

The product portfolio of widescreen format Comfort Panels now includes 4-, 7-, 9-, 12-, 15-, 19-, and 22-in. models.
