Gateways pass DNP Level 2 conformance tests
FieldServer Technologies now offers a full range of DNP3 Gateways that have successfully passed DNP3 Level 2 Conformance Test.
FieldServer’s products for the DNP3 community range from the ProtoCessor gateways that enable Original Equipment Manufacturers to easily provide DNP3 interface, to FieldServer multichannel gateways for the end-user and integrator to meet communicate via DNP3.
DNP3 is an open and public protocol originally developed for interoperability between substation computers and RTUs for the electric utility industry but is now also widely used in the water/wastewater, transportation and oil/gas industries. FieldServer Technologies has been a member of the DNP3 Users Group and involved in DNP3 integration for over ten years. FST gateways provide legacy and proprietary devices access to the power of DNP3 and with the across-the-board testing of all levels of gateways, FieldServer is the first gateway provider that can provide such a range of interface for all levels of integration.
FieldServer Technologies maintains a high focus in the building automation industry with over 100 protocol drivers in their extensive driver library. These drivers work with the FieldServer DNP3 gateways and servers to provide the vital link for many Building Automation and Industrial controls access to DNP3. The gateways tested to be compliant to DNP3 specifications include:
- FS-B20 Series – DNP3 Gateway with serial and Ethernet interface capability
- FS-B3510 – Multichannel DNP3 Gateway with dual Ethernet and four serial ports to interface multiple devices and protocols to DNP3. Other protocols include LonWorks, DeviceNet, ControlNet and Profibus
- FS-B40 Series – Ten-port DNP3 Gateway with 10 Serial and dual Ethernet ports for large system interface
