Murata Power Solutions’ OKDx-T/50 series of 50-A
digitally controlled point-of-load (PoL) DC-DC converters are designed to deliver 50 A/165 Watt from a high power density module. They are available in through-hole, single-in-line, and surface-mount formats and the converters can be configured and monitored using industry-standard PMBus commands. Another feature is the non-linear transient response, which is designed to decrease response time and output voltage deviation. The OKDx-T/50 series accommodates input voltages from 4.5 to 14 V dc and provides a configurable output voltage from 0.6 to 3.3 V dc. Safety features include output short circuit, over current, output over voltage, and input under voltage protection. Applications for the OKDx-T/50 include a broad range of telecommunications, wireless infrastructure, and data networking equipment.
