PACs for motion add IEC 61131-3, PLCopen programming
Yaskawa expands MotionWorks IEC programmable automation controllers (PACs) for motion control to allow programming with IEC 61131-3 and PLCopen standards, the company said.

Featuring a motion engine integrated with IEC61131-3 and PLCopen programming standards, Yaskawa’s MotionWorks IEC PACs provide full scalability from single to multi-axis applications within one programming platform, the company said.
Yaskawa will introduce its next offering in this series at Pack Expo 2011 (Booth 3438). The MP3000iec PAC will be shown along with the latest Sigma-5 Servo technology with Mechatrolink-III Network Connectivity.
