CMOS-based machine vision camera, CleverDragon CSC12M25BMP19
CMOS-based machine vision camera from Toshiba Teli America Inc. features a proprietary and patented 12-MP, 1.9-in. CMOS monochrome progressive scan sensor. CleverDragon CSC12M25BMP19 is said to establish an optimal imaging platform to help OEMs and system integrators develop better high-speed machine vision, parts inspection, robotics, and medical applications. Camera’s CMOS sensor has 4096 (H) x 3072 (V) pixel resolution, 25-frames-per-second (fps) full-frame speed, and low signal-to-noise ratio that is close to a traditional CCD. Its development environment is enhanced by a Camera Link standard interface (10/8 bit), allowing for immediate integration into new and existing systems without the need for special cables or frame grabbers. Industrially rugged yet compact unit features an electronic global shutter to capture clear images of parts on even the fastest moving assembly lines. Its Window of Interest (WOI) function can be programmed to display a maximum of 28 square windows within a single image, then allow the user to select via a PC only those windows that are to be read out, significantly increasing fps rate. Other key features include large square pixels (6.0 x 6.0 www.toshiba-teli.com Toshiba Teli America Inc.– Edited by Jeanine Katzel , consulting editor Control Engineering News Desk Register here .
