Drew Rose is known by his colleagues as a person who makes it his mission to work hard for his clients. Rose wants his clients to remember him as a person who listened to their needs and requests—an attribute that sets him apart from other engineers. He isn’t afraid to ask questions, and he thrives in an environment that promotes group discussion and client input. Rose is constantly researching solutions and communicating with clients to make sure their requests are met. Rose’s experience includes the complete design of power and lighting systems, as well as switchgear and generator sizing. He also has experience with fire alarm, nurse call, audio/visual, and security systems. Rose’s work primarily involves electrical-system design in commercial facilities and healthcare facilities. He helps meet his clients’ requests by keeping himself abreast of new sustainable technology while remaining conscience of achieving sustainability within a project’s budget constraints. Rose’s interest in budget-conscious sustainable design extends beyond his work on paper. He has a passion for educating school administrators and other clients on the advantages of energy-efficient systems for their buildings. Recently, Rose has been involved with providing electrical design solutions for new variable refrigerant and geothermal mechanical systems for existing schools. Outside of work, Rose enjoys spending time with his family and taking photographs.
