TMR 2E series is the latest addition to the Traco Power TMR product family of regulated single in-line package (SIP) converters. Applications include instrumentation, communication and industrial electronics. According to the company, this series of 2W dc/dc converters has been designed for excellent quality at optimized cost. Input voltage ranges include 4.5–9.0, 9.0–18, 18-36 and 36-75 V dc, with output voltages of 3.3, 5.0 and 12 V dc. High efficiency allows a compact case dimension of only 21.8 mm x 11.2 mm x 9.3 mm and operating temperature up to 75 °C. Standard safety features include 1,000 V dc I/O-isolation and constant short circuit protection. A shutdown input for standby operation makes it suitable for battery-operated systems.
