Winsted's WELS4 is a 3D software program designed to improve the interactivity and speed of control room design and its 3D interfaces allows viewing from any vertical or horizontal angle. Courtesy: WinstedWinsted's Equipment Layout Software (WELS) version 4 is a console software tool that allows operations of 10 series of consoles and desks, vertical racks, M-view monitor walls, and media storage systems. It features on-screen tool bars and windows, built-in room design, and a faster graphics system. WELS4 allows users to generate part lists and design specification sheets, place multiple consoles anywhere in the room, and change the color of work surface. Its 3D interface allows viewing from any vertical or horizontal angle. Users can also accessorize designs with monitors, LCDs, DVD players, keyboards, blank panels, and doors. WELS4 exports design to DWG or DXF files to import into CAD program or exports to JPEG format. WELS system requires Microsoft Windows (Microsoft Windows XP or newer).
