Stamford, Conn.— D500 Four Channel Sensor to Computer Modules are intended as complete solutions for data acquisition systems based on PCs and related equipment with RS-232/485 serial I/O ports. The modules connect to various sensors to measure temperature, voltage, and current. They convert the four analog input signals to engineering units, then transmit them in ASCII format to the host. No potentiometer or switch setting are needed on D500 Series modules. Features such as address, transmission rate, parity, echo, etc. can be selected without access to the module-via a simple command over the communications port.
