Within the newest version of OSIsoft ‘s PI BatchView, users have access to a hierarchical representation of repeatable process events.

A process variable can be displayed as a batch event, and compared to hundreds of similar events, in order to verify process repeatability.

Large enterprises run thousands of batches in a matter of days, and are challenged with reducing cycle time and increasing product consistency. PI BatchView ensures that key information reaches the right people at the right time, so that each batch increases in consistency and efficiency.

PI BatchView works as a component within OSIsoft’s ProcessBook. Though the software supports the ISA 88 batch standard, it can be applied to other industries, including automotive and semiconductor operations to compare productivity and overall equipment effectiveness between shifts, days, and other repeatable events.
